My Story

Hello!
My name is Kameryn Villalba. Call me Kam.
I am an illustrator/visual development artist from Arizona. Focusing on character and environment design, with secondary skills on storyboarding, props, and 3D design.
Recently graduated with a BFA in Visual Development from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco, and a previous study in graphic design in New York City,
I have a deep passion for creativity and a strong connection with my work.
Growing up, art was my main getaway in life. Starting out as a kid in second grade drawing at my desk to joining every art club throughout my twelve years of school and beyond. My lifetime of artistic skills has put me in wonderful places I could only dream of. Over the course of the years and attending comic cons and other events, I've come across many other artists who've inspired me and interacting with them has given me more confidence into pursuing my career further.
Despite life's challenges, I continue to move forward, heighten my problem-solving skills, and commit to my creative growth. My ultimate goal is to put ideas and words into captivating images for all to enjoy and only become better than I was previously.
When I am is not focused on my work I enjoy reading, traveling, video games, stargazing, and having my furry companions near.

Me & Animation Director, Don Bluth; October 2024.
